By the inclusion of an optional pressure equalising valve Beaufort and Amie bath mixer taps can provide the same operational benefits as those of a thermostatic bath shower mixer tap. The pressure equalising valve enables accurate temperature control to be accurately set with the hot and cold valves and then left for the duration of the water supply requirement.
Fluctuations in water temperature as those usually experienced when other water using appliances are being used are catered for by the unit. No longer does the user get scalded when a toilet is flushed or they suffer a momentary cold shower when a washing machine is running on hot cycle. This type of thermostatic bath shower mixer tap is also upgradeable to include Albion’s range of Effusio and fixed riser showers enabling a stand up shower as well bath filling function. By inclusion of an optional additional two way diverter between the thermostatic bath shower mixer tap and shower riser a flexible hose shower handset can also be incorporated.
