Thermostatic mixer bath shower combinations are not readily available however Albion’s fixed riser shower with optional pressure equalising valve can provide the user with all of the functions they require. With Albion’s bath filler with fixed riser shower, the water supply temperature can be easily set at the hot and cold taps which combined with the pressure equalising valve easily takes the place of a thermostatic mixer bath shower.
The various water outlet functions are then determined by turning the diverter lever. By setting the diverter lever to bath position the bath may be filled, whilst selection to the shower position enables the overhead shower to be used. In addition to this by pulling the optional handset diverter the water flow is diverted from the overhead rose to the flexible shower handset for easy rinsing of hair or bath. Therefore the perceived requirement for a combined thermostatic mixer bath shower is achieved with Albion’s Amie and Beaufort ranges of brassware.
