Thermostatic shower mixer valve
Trying to find a thermostatic shower mixer valve that matches basin and bath taps has for many years proved difficult if not impossible. Thermostatic shower mixer valve manufacturers and bath tap manufacturers have generally gone their own way and come up with designs that although are not too dissimilar they still do not match. Customers have constantly requested matching items of high end brassware and the Albion Bath Company have now developed such ranges.
Both Beaufort and Amie ranges come with exposed and concealed shower options as well as standard bath basin and bidet taps. Unlike the conventional thermostatic shower mixer valve Albion’s shower is based on a manual pressure balanced shower valve utilising a ¾” supply body. This means that conventional unreliable thermostatic cartridges are not relied on. Both models incorporate the usually perceived high end costly optional extra flexible handset as standard. More importantly, in response to the market requirement both have head works designed to match exactly their respective bath shower mixer and tap models.
